Abe Flores, who owns the PDR brand, values the Dominican Republic's contribution to the cigar industry. This led him to keep the Ecuador Criollo 98 wrapper and the Mexican San Andres binder. The outcome is an affordable, medium-strength cigar offering a mildly spicy mix of nuts, coffee bean, soft cedar, and white pepper.
