The Perla del Mar Maduro Robusto is a box-pressed cigar crafted by J.C. Newman at the PENSA factory in Nicaragua. Its dark Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper gives the cigar an oily texture and a naturally rich, dessert-like profile. The smoke reveals notes of dark chocolate, espresso, molasses, wood and sweet spice, supported by a creamy and balanced Nicaraguan core. Despite its pronounced maduro character, the strength stays in the medium to medium-full range rather than becoming overpowering, making it flavorful yet approachable. The Robusto format concentrates the flavors nicely while maintaining a slow and even burn.
