The La Aurora Fernando León Family Reserve Belicoso is one of the most personal blends ever released by La Aurora. Originally crafted exclusively for Fernando León, a figure in the Dominican tobacco industry, and his close family and friends, it later became part of the regular production lineup in 2012. The blend features an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper, a Dominican binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Brazil, and Peru. The profile is medium-bodied and highly balanced, delivering notes of cedar, sweet spices, caramel, leather and fine wood. The belicoso shape helps concentrate flavors and provides a refined progression throughout the smoke.
