This Hoyo de Monterrey Elegantes features a smooth, oily wrapper. When you take a draw, you'll encounter aromas of hay, grass, cedar, and leather, while the cold draw reveals flavors of oak, almonds, cinnamon, and leather. The first third showcases a dominant creamy cedar note, accompanied by leather, hay, and cinnamon. Initially, the draw is slightly tight, as is typical for this vitola, but it opens up after a few puffs. The second third brings stronger spicy and woody notes, with hints of cocoa. The final third provides a creamier experience, still dominated by leather, with a subtle touch of caramel. This cigar offers a complex and enticing flavor profile.
